Godly Realtionships Part 1

"The biggest problem with us mere beings when it comes to relationships is we desire "Godly relationships" more than we desire God" the hunger for some of you may have for relationships is a void that can only be filled by God, When you have a broken relationship with God you seek water from other source that can never satisfy, God wants you to drink of him so stop seeking people remember that Adam didn't seek eve neither did eve seek Adam God brought eve to Adam 

The enemy works overtime  to keep us in shame, because he knows that if he can keep us in shame surely he'll be able to minimize our intimacy with God 
There was a point in my life where I thought satisfaction was found in a relationship, my joy was found in my partner he was my provider and my source to everything I ever wanted but never really did I have that inner peace within me, for example If I ask him to get me something and he says no I would really get pissed at him and end up doing crazy things and having this crazy thoughts like does he really love me or his just a cliche ! The reason why this was happening is because I gave Satan authority to take control of my relationship and surely he messed it all up because he comes to steal, kill and destroy, you can run from one relationship to another relationship but only God can fill that void you feel, only he can give you the desires of your heart, your goal in any relationship should be to glorify God as long as you are single and if along the way God gives you a spouse than glorify him in marriage.
A relationship that last is the one Christ in the center, two people putting God first seeking him in every way possible, in order to be as good, a spouse as one can be its all about trusting in Gods plan and not depending on your own strength!

1 Corinthians 13:4-7 
Love is patient, Love is kind it does not envy it does not boast, it is not proud it is not rude, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs, love does not delight in evil  but rejoices with the truth;it always protects, always trusts;always hopes; always preservers love never fails.

If you want  to be free to serve Jesus there's no question- stay single, marriage takes a lot of time but if you want to be like Jesus, I cant imagine a better thing to do than to get married, being married forces you to face some character issues you'd never have to face otherwise; pursue godliness and let God awaken your Adam at the right time and in his own timing, seek God first and allow him to fill that gap before you consider getting into a relationship one day you'll wake up and you'll be so glad you didn't settle for just anything and you chose to wait on God's plan 
Don't get into another relationship in attempt to get over your last break sit down somewhere and let Christ make you whole you're complete in Christ not another relationship! a guy who loves you Jesus will respect you, pursue you, pray for you ,pray with you and treasure you 
he won't pressure you or even control you, 

A word for the proverbs 31 ladies waiting on God: 
Don't follow the crowd be the kind of woman who is supernaturally attractive because you spend quality time with the Lord, strive to be like Jesus and genuinely love God I guarantee you that you will exude God's character and all of the qualities that will attract the man that your heart truly desires.
nothing is more impressive than a woman who is secured in the unique way God made her :-) 
be active,vigilant, and careful about how much of your heart you give to a man 
be able to walk away from a dating relationship with your whole heart intact so that your future husband is not robbed of part of it down the road, prayerfully consider what, when, how much to give away but ultimately your main priority is as a single woman is to first give your heart fully, wholly, unabashedly, and devoted to Christ alone. Until you have tasted God's eternal, steadfast, redeeming love, hold off on looking for a man because even if a man is not currently pursuing you, Jesus is pursuing you ! don't compare your love story to those in movies and novels because it destroys the relationship those stories were written by mere humans like me and you while yours is written by God the best Author! 

Basics in a Godly relationship

Rely on God's word
Encouring and building each other up
Long lasting
Always be patient,for God is writting your love story
Telling them they are beautiful as they are
I trust in both God and you
One that is Christ centred 
Never led each other astray, from what is important
Seeking God first 
Humble yourself before anyone else
I am committed to loving you like Jesus loves you 
Pray for each other
Share the word with each other

Heavenly Father 
It's time for me to forget the past, forget the mistakes, and focus on what you're doing in my life today, I know that you're doing a new thing, you are placing the right people in my life and removing the wrong ones 
you are closing old doors and preparing me for new opportunities, the pruning process can be uncomfortable and painful but I know its for my good 
I choose to trust you
